一、「忍耐，容忍，不屈不撓的精神，堅忍，剛毅」。特別顯示在苦難及勞苦的容忍上， 路21:19 羅5:3,4 15:4,5 林後6:4 帖前1:3 帖後1:4 提前6:11 提後3:10 多2:2 來10:36 雅1:3,4 彼後1:6 上，下， 啟2:2,3,19 。πᾶσα ὑπ.百般的忍耐， 林後12:12 西1:11 。與主詞的所有格用法ἡ ὑπ.
